Introducing the passion and growth stories of women's Harty strikes who deliver special moments to our customers every day.

On March 8th International Women's Day, Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa expresses our heartfelt gratitude and respect to the shining women Harty strikes who work every day to deliver the best hospitality to our customers.

At this hotel, women who are active at the forefront of hospitality practice snuggle up to the needs of each customer, especially the family group, and provide heartwarming services. Our dedication to bringing peace of mind and smiles to all generations of customers makes our hotel attractive and creates wonderful memories of your stay.

In this article, I would like to introduce some of our women's Harty St. Please take a look at how their careers and thoughts contribute to the smiles of our customers.

■ Community-based services and hospitality utilizing diversity

Located in Nasu Kogen surrounded by rich nature, this hotel is a resort facility that values hospitality for multiple generations, especially for families. We aim to create a space that anyone can use with peace of mind by providing special activities for children and facilities that are designed for elderly people.

In order to provide such a stay that makes you feel like you want to come again, the power of staff with diverse perspectives is essential. Going forward, we will continue to provide special moments that will be memorable for our customers, contributing to the local community and sustainable tourism.

■ Front Staff N "Hospitality Supported by Life Experience"

The front desk is an important position to welcome guests first as the “face” of the hotel. I feel that the listening and attention that I have cultivated through my life experience so far is very active in my current job. In particular, the hotel has many families, and a wide range of generations, from the elderly to small children, will visit the museum. We take care of each person's situation carefully and try to take the most reliable response for that person. I feel that I have gained the perspective of thinking about things from the other person's point of view and the ability to calm down judgment. As a woman and as a senior in life, I also consulted with young staff. I think that a work environment that can support each other across generations is a great asset to the hotel. We will continue to provide warm hospitality to our customers who want to come back again while turning our experience into strengths.

■ Reservation staff E "All my experiences lead to hospitality"

I joined the hotel in order to pursue hospitality and have been in contact with customers in various positions, but now I am working as a reservation manager to respond to inquiries. What I can say in that is, "Any experience is not wasteful, it is connected to me now." At our hotel, which is often used by families, our own childcare experience also helps us to stay close to the anxiety of our guests with children. I often tell you from our customers, and I feel the depth and joy of hospitality every day. We will continue to deliver hospitality so that more customers can stay with peace of mind.

■ Food and beverage service staff M “Challenge for new things”

Until now, I have not experienced much in the customer service industry, but I am involved in the current business as a new challenge. Since there are so many family customers, we are conscious of working carefully one by one, cherishing smiles and gratitude. I am still learning, but I would like to be involved with guests as much as possible and aim for a service that will leave an impression of traveling.

■ Kitchen Staff K: “Leverage your experience and move into a new job”

I feel that it is a workplace where I can grow myself while taking advantage of the communication skills and planning skills I have cultivated in my previous work, while apprenticing the surrounding staff who have a passion for cooking and ingredients. In addition, an environment where women can accept diverse work styles so that they can balance work and family is easy for women to take on challenges and work. We thank the staff around us who support us, and we will do our best to contribute to the excitement of our customers.

■ Room cleaning staff O "Take care of each one in front of you"

I am mainly in charge of room cleaning and delivery services to deliver your requested items. There aren't many opportunities to meet directly with you, but the rooms are an important place to spend most of your time in your hotel. For this reason, I always try to prepare myself with the feeling of welcoming my family. Delivery requires speed and accuracy, but no matter how busy you are, you will never forget your smile and politeness. When the customer said "Thank you", I felt really good to be doing this job. Teamwork is very important at the site, so I am grateful every day that there is an environment where you can help each other naturally when you are in trouble. We will continue to strive to create rooms where you can spend time with peace of mind while supporting each other with friends.

■ Management Staff K “Workplace Environment Beyond Gender and Age”

In my memory a long time ago, when I was hired, I felt a handicap for women, but when I joined Ako, I realized that it was a flat work environment that transcends gender and age barriers. I hope that we will continue to work on gender issues while valuing individuality and creating a bright and enjoyable workplace.

At Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa, we will continue to work together to improve our services to meet the needs of each customer. We value community-based services and strive to provide a space where everyone can spend time with peace of mind.

Going forward, we will continue to provide heartfelt hospitality so that staying at our hotel will be a special memory for our guests. We look forward to seeing you again.
